Matt Gallant

Mr. Gallant began his professional career at the age of 17 when he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving from 2007 to 2011, assigned to 2nd BN, 9th Marine Regiment. While in the Marines he conducted combat tours in Ramadi, Iraq along with Marjah & Sangin, Afghanistan. His decorations and awards consist of a Meritorious Mast while holding the billet of Team Leader, Combat Action Ribbon, Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, Global War on Terrorism, Sea Service Deployment, Afghanistan Campaign Medal (with 1 bronze star), Iraq Campaign Medal (with 2 bronze stars), National Defense Service Medal, Rifle Qualification Badge (expert 3x award). 

Following his tour in the Marine Corps, Mr. Gallant focused on continued education along with field training in numerous trades, specializing in construction and development. Academically he studied Criminal Justice, Finance, Personal Development, and Business Management. 

In 2016 Mr. Gallant transitioned to the corporate arena when he assumed a position with a newly formed private equity / specialized lending company. During his tenure with the company, he rose through the ranks beginning as an Associate, followed by Manager, Vice President, and then Director of Operations. Some of his duties consisted of implementing operational policies and procedures, initiatives to optimize efficiency, and consolidate operating systems to reduce corporate overhead. 

In addition, he was responsible for the oversight of the Business Development initiatives and managed a team responsible for raising millions of dollars of investor capital that provided the eligibility for the company’s shares to be traded on the public market. 

Some of his foundational skills are rooted in leadership, management, compliance, collateral analysis, cost management and control, business process optimization operating system development, internal control and procedures, SEC reporting and filing. 

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and friends along with being proactive in the community. He has served on economic vitality committees in the community and also serves as the President of his community HOA.
